The clients, who admired Han Tümertekin's Aga Khan award-winning B2 House, asked the famous architect to design a house made of natural stone and glass for them. The project designed by Tümertekin, which cuts the slope of the topography linearly and opens out to the view of the project area as it is, is located in Çanakkale.
Different from the surrounding tile roofs, the stone-formed roof does not intend to stand out from surrounding houses. It aims to create a valuable roof character for its environment.
The interior of the house is designed with a continuous circulation as in B2 house. The SM house, where all glass facades are used to strengthen the interior and exterior relationship, distinguishes itself with the aesthetical stance of the good architecture.
