Modular House

Nowadays, modular houses are seen as an architectural solution that is becoming more and more widespread.

The Montana House which is located in the Asturias, region of Spain, has been one of the examples of unique projects that can be successfully combined with local and natural materials and new design trends.

Designed to be used as the second residence of the family according to the requirements of the landlords, the designers stated that during the design process, they took into account the local city regulations when choosing materials and colors. The design team says they aim to blend design with natural materials such as slate and wood to ensure a perfect integration of the design with the rural environment.

The use of local materials is especially noteworthy in the selection of materials. In the façade and roof sections of the building, natural slate selected by Baragano and first class, thin laminated black slate, smoothly extracted from the Las Arcas quarries in the nearby town of San Pedro de Trones, were used.

The Montana House meets the desired high efficiency and quality with its intelligent design and the use of natural materials that do not require artificial processes and do not use chemical products during production.
